Adventure and Outdoors: What awaits you at the Montreal Show

Context

At the start of this year, as the outdoor festival season approaches, the Montreal Adventure and Outdoor Show is on the horizon, ready to welcome outdoor enthusiasts.

With our memorable experiences from the 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions , we consider ourselves regulars at the show, and we are excited to share our tips and suggestions to maximize your experience. Especially those who are discovering this event for the first time.

Although our perspective is based on our last three appearances , in 2022, 2023 and 2024, we hope that these tips will be useful to you, while remaining aware that surprises could animate the upcoming edition.

The 4 sections of the show

The outdoor adventure show is made up of 4 sections:

Quebec Adventures

• This section of the show is mainly dedicated to adventure providers such as via ferrata. There is also a section dedicated to the Regional Parks of Quebec

  • The Treetop Trails

Campsite center

• Camping and vanlife fans will be well catered for here. A very large part of this area was allocated to the campervan in 2024.

International travel

• Want to collect souvenirs from all over the world? As soon as you cross this section, the world opens up to you with the many destinations represented

World of Scuba Diving

• A really striking piece when we go to the show is the famous Eco Dive mobile diving station as well as the giant swimming pool (30'x50') where SUP (Paddle Board) and kayaking demonstrations take place.

The outdoor and adventure fair also includes two seminar broadcast stages:

• Meet seasoned adventurers, get tips for active, healthy living, and prepare for your next getaway from these hiking experts.

  • Scotland: Hiking the West Highland Way by Alex Godard and Vincent Lafortune
    Alex and Vincent recounted their adventure on the most popular trail in Scotland: the West Highland Way.

Scene the best of Quebec

A competition for young adventurers

At this outdoor festival, there is the young adventurer contest. Children explore various activities by going through the booths to collect stamps. To be eligible, they must visit all the participating booths.

An opportunity to shop for the season

The outdoor and adventure show is also an opportunity to make purchases in preparation for the upcoming outdoor season. It even happens that we make great discoveries of Quebec companies .
